"Without story, only direct experience remains - which means no more bracing against life, no more hiding our hearts, full embrace, full experience only ever now - whatever that may be. Without the barricade of mind we are left only with the undefended heart - which has been waiting to shine out as your true self since that first moment you decided it was safer to hide the light than to be the light. shine, be what you are even if that scares you - shine! and remember the mind is a beautiful friend (however mistaken in its cause) and is as included in your Heart as anything else. Not foe; friend, doing what it has only ever known to do - use reason and intellect and judgment and distinction to survive - its understandable, its sweet even to see the confusion of this little ball of gray matter. This little ball of tissue and cells and electromagnetic currents has taken up the task of wielding the forces of the universe. That's a big job, one it just isn't equipped for. Does your current reliance on mind serve this greater opportunity to know yourself more intimately? Can we begin to come to a deeper level of understanding of this reliance: one that will open us to the possibility of a new way of being?"
