      Hey Laney,

Welcome to the group. Maybe I'll see you on one of our Monday night group meetings. It's a combination meditation, discussion, video viewing support group (http://www.ashevillesangha.com/events/awakening-support).

      Be well,

      Trey

Laney, welcome. You are looking for a meditation group. I can recommend Asheville Insight Meditation (mindfulness) which meets twice on Sunday and on Wednesday. http://www.ashevillesangha.com/events/asheville-insight-meditation

Also, I like Oneness Deeksha group which meets Mondays and Thursdays at 7:30pm and Tuesdays at 11:00am. http://www.ashevillesangha.com/events/oneness-blessing-2

      Peace, Cullen

    About Me

Having had the pleasure of working at Omega Institute, Naropa University and the Findhorn Foundation, my interests are in education, spirituality and creativity. I paint in watercolor, abstract art, read a lot, and love interesting conversation with like-minded people. Aside from interests in literature and the arts, I'm fascinated with the unseen world and extraordinary phenomena. I've been looking for a weekly meditation group.

“Look where we may, the dark threads and the light cross each other perpetually in the texture of human life.“ Wilkie Collins. It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life and in change there is power. Alan Cohen “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through the experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambitions inspired and success achieved”. Helen Keller
