Welcome Lynn. Did you perhaps do TM here in Asheville? I was initiated in May 1974 at UNCA. My old teachers and friends Tom and Truly Ball are back and living in Asheville. I no longer do TM, but go by the center now and then for the group spirit, and to see my friends. A couple of people have told me about Robert. I hope to sit with him some time. Maybe we can invite him here? GangaJi was here in April 2008, and Adyashanti just this past April.
I am doing GangaJI video satsang July 7 Wed @ 7:00pm 25 Orange St/AVL. Also, Adyashanti July 21 Wed 7:00pm same location. I hope to meet you soon Lynn.
      Peace, Cullen

      Hey Lynn,

Nice to meet you. Welcome to the group. I love Rupert Spira's teachings as well. I just learned about him a couple of months ago. Hope to see you at a future group meeting.

      Peace,
      Trey

    About Me

As a long time meditator beginning with TM with Maharishi in the early 70s then practicing vipassana for many years and in recent years I have returned to my root tradition of Christianity, practicing and becoming a facilitator for Centering Prayer, a contemplative practice of surrender .I was drawn to my teacher, Rupert Spira during a long retreat at a Trappist monaster ywhere I was introduced to his work and have subsequently been in satsang with him and follow his direct path. I have a farm in Yancey county where I raise l sheep and llamas and work as a studio artist in bookarts. and textiles.
