About Me

Just recently, July 2017, I relocated from Austin, with Wendy, my beloved wife of 31 years. We are owners and co-directors of the Pilates Center of Austin, now in its 25th year, in stride for another 25, its daily running and goings on, held in the capable and caring hands and hearts of a staff we are blessed to call family. I am a lifelong woodworker, a co-creator and maker of wooden toys that enchant, someone who strives for artfulness, beauty, humor and truth in everything I engage in. And, sometimes I even hit the mark. I have lived with the deep challenges and chronic pain of ptsd for most of my adult life, now in my 70th year, accompanied by a commitment to live and share a deeply meaningful life in the midst the blessed beautiful unfathomable chaos of it all.
