About Me

Been on the path to conscious awakening for a time and would be interested in sharing space with this group. I recently retired and transplanted to Black Mountain in November of 2017. For the past 5 years I have spent between 5 weeks and 4 months volunteering at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck N.Y., sleeping in a tent and living in community. This experience has been instrumental on my path to "The Isness". I enjoy reading Thich Nhat Hanh, Adashanti, Pema Chodron, Ram Dass, Eckhart Tolle, Jeff Foster, Jack Kornfield, most recently Amoda Maaa. I have attended workshops with some of these teachers as well. I love Kirtan! I enjoy a daily morning practice of meditation and yoga. I believe keeping the physical body in optimal health allows a clear channel to the true self therefore nutrition and movement are extremely important to me. We have a huge TV with only internet capability. The nightly question is "who do you want to watch, Mooji, Adayshanti, Amoda, Tara Brach...?" I am happy to have been led to live in WNC!
