While Maria was on tour nearby, and she had a few days between gigs, I invited her to stop and visit me in Asheville and put this evening on for her in a very impromptu style... About 150 people showed up with last minute promotion on a week night to dance to Maria's music and her Bluesiana band... What fun we had!
