Awakening your Inner Jedi: Embracing Life’s Challenges through Nonduality & IFS --Sun night and/or Mon afternoon--video preview attached
What if your greatest superpower isn’t something to acquire—but something already within, waiting to be welcomed, enjoyed, and lived?
In these experiential gatherings, we’ll explore how both Nonduality and Internal Family Systems (IFS) offer profound, accessible doorways into uncovering your natural ability to stay loving, open, and imperturbable—in the face of challenge, interpersonal tension, and especially today’s extreme political polarization.
We’ll begin by entering through the door of Nonduality, inviting a direct, felt sense of your true nature. What is it like to abide as Spaciousness, Groundedness, Love, or Power? As we rest as each of these expressions of Awakened Awareness, our orientation toward life and conflict naturally shifts. We’re no longer reacting—we’re responding from a deeper knowing of what we are.
Alternatively, we’ll approach through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us recognize that all of life’s difficulties and conflicts arises from aspects of our personality—what IFS calls “parts.” When we become aware of a part’s preference, resistance, or fear, and notice it from Self (Awake Awareness), we are no longer fused with it. This shift in perspective becomes the key to freedom: we discern without being stuck, respond rather than react, and deepen in love and intimacy with what is.
Together, we’ll explore how challenges—both personal and collective—are not problems to fix, but sacred opportunities to deepen in love, discernment, celebration, and inner peace. Eventually, seeing the radiant heart shining through any conflict becomes as natural as breathing. From this embodied knowing, we begin to move through life as Jedi—clear, loving, unwavering.
These gatherings are not theoretical. They’re alive. Through presence, attunement, laughter, perhaps music, movement, and communal exploration, we’ll touch the real edges of what it means to welcome what’s difficult—and find freedom inside it. You may experience more fun than you thought possible in a nonduality, IFS and conflict resolution workshop.
We’ll also explore one essential question together: How does spiritual realization—this beautiful journey you’ve been on—translate into clear, confident, loving presence when real-life tension shows up? Let’s discover that together.
These may not feel like “workshops” at all. They may feel like coming home—to yourself, to community, and to the sacred celebration of what’s real.

Facilitator – Sid Friedman
For over 30 years, Sid has earnestly explored the heart of Nonduality, studying with many beloved teachers and hosting retreats, sanghas, and conferences. His path has woven together the spiritual and the practical, serving as an attorney mediator, trainer in Internal Family Systems, improv actor, and DJ. He created Effortless IFS, The Awakening Dance Party, Them to Us Cultural Conflict Resolution, Nondual NVC, Homeopathic IFS, IFS Flow Yoga, and other playful and effortless expressions of healing and realization. Sid is co-host of the 4,000-member IFS Nondual Community on Facebook and continues to share his work through hundreds of YouTube videos—ranging from playful shorts to full deep dive workshops. Currently visiting Asheville regularly to study with relational awakening teacher Paige Britt, Sid is exploring the possibility of offering ongoing gatherings in the area.
