Ditch the pressure, keep the play. Join us for an experimental mixed-media workshop led by art
therapist Angela Modzelewski. We’re breaking through creative blocks by focusing on the process,
not the product—so don't be afraid to make something wonderfully "ugly." Whether you’re an artist in
a rut or brand new to the canvas, we provide the supplies; you bring the creative energy. Let’s get
messy...
This session is designed to help you trade perfectionism for play, focusing entirely on the process of
making rather than the final product. Dive into a mixed media experience where you are free to
make a mess, experiment, and make “bad art” by combining traditional materials like acrylic
paint, canvas, and collage with untraditional mediums.
Suggested donation of $20-35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Registration is required, as space is limited. Hit the RSVP button to reserve your spot!
Kids 10+ are invited to join in the fun too!
Angela Modzelewski is a registered art therapist and counselor at HeARTS for Hope Therapy. She also offers therapeutic art workshops in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina that support mindfulness, resilience, and reflection.
