The 4-night retreat will include sitting and walking meditation, mindful meals in silence, Dharma talks, small group discussions, and mindful movement practice. Therese will offer Dharma talks on cultivating a calm mind and developing single-pointed concentration and insight as practices to investigate the causes that lead to suffering and those that lead to well-being.
Therese trained at the San Francisco Zen Center and Tassajara Mountain Monastery, and with Thich Nhat Hanh. She co-founded the Community of Mindful Living and Dharma Friends and co-edited many spiritual books. Therese has been teaching mindfulness for more than thirty years.
