Poet Tracey Schmidt has taken poems from her recently released book, "I Have Fallen in Love with the World", combined them with the poetry of Hafiz, Rumi and Yeats, and joined singer Miriam Matossian, musicians River Guerguerian, Chris Rosser and Matthew Cox to make an outstanding and moving CD, 'Returning Home'.
A party to celebrate the release of this CD will be held at Hawk and Ivy, a magnificent venue in Barnardsville, on Sunday August 28, with a live performance by all the above.
Come at 5:30 to explore the gardens and grounds and bring a favorite dish to share for potluck in the great barn.
Performance begins at 7 PM, so be sure to be there no later than 6:45 PM if you are not already there for the potluck. Parking is in the field across the road from the entrance.
