Join us for a transformative retreat focused on navigating life's challenges through the teachings of the Buddha. This retreat, lead by Leslie Rawls and hosted at the Well Being Retreat Center in Tazewell Tennessee, will delve into the Four Immeasurable Minds, or Brahmaviharas—practices of love, compassion, equanimity, and joy. Through guided sitting meditation, silent meals, outdoor walking meditation, Dharma Talks, and private practice interviews, we will explore and practice these essential teachings. A Five Mindfulness Trainings transmission ceremony will be offered on the final morning for those interested.
This retreat is ideal for both newcomers and experienced practitioners. The primary focus will be on cultivating mindfulness and grounding ourselves in the present moment, with periods of silence to deepen the practice.
Accommodations (lodging, meals and snacks) for this 3 night retreat range from $320 to $510, depending on the lodging selected. A 2-night option beginning with Friday supper is also available for those who cannot begin the retreat Thursday evening ranging in price from $235 - $370 depending on lodging selected.
