Tracey Schmidt and Majo John Madden have very different poetic voices: hers beautiful, lyrical and haunting - his raw, sprawling and often very funny. But they each are very personal, psychological and accessible - poetry for people who don't like poetry. And they each like to work with musicians, several of whom aregoing to join them to make this a very memorable afternoon of poetry in performance. Think fun, intimate, paradoxical, beautiful, healing.

Musicians are Joshua Messick on hammer dulcimer, Peter Levitov on hand pan drum, Michael Ivey on electric guitar, Matthew Cox on tablas, Tony Godwin on acoustic guitar, Daniel Barber on djimbe, and Robert Thomas on piano.
