The School of Peace teaches a year-long course that trains people in the skills needed to serve the hearts and souls of others as a minister. This upcoming course - starting Saturday October 11 - will take place one Saturday per month at The School of Peace in downtown Asheville.
This course does not teach theology, so you must bring your own spiritual path. We have had students from a wide variety of religious traditions become Interfaith Peace Ministers via The School of Peace. We have had practicing ministers and rabbis join the course because in their seminary they were taught the religion but not many skills for ministering to their congregation.
There are 20 classes in the entire course. Each class is $40, bringing the total to $800.
Participants will become ordained ministers at the completion of this course.
