Lila Kate Wheeler: Lila Kate Wheeler’s Sunday flight from Boston, Massachusetts to Asheville, NC has been cancelled by her airlines because of hurricane Irene’s impending arrival. Please still attend this scheduled sangha event, where without Lila’s presence, we will still meet at this day and time to meditate, listen to a recorded dharma talk by Lila Kate Wheeler and send loving kindness wishes and prayers to Lila and all other beings who are being adversely affected by this hurricane.
Lila was very disappointed about not being able to come meet and instruct our sangha members Sunday evening. But, understandably she has more things to worry about, as she and her husband are working diligently to button up their home and prepare for the hurricane's arrival. The airlines rescheduled her flight for Monday afternoon, such that she can still come lead her SDRC retreat which begins Monday.
