Join Lucinda Green, Ph.D as she leads the group in meditation.  She will also give a talk and leave time to answer questions.

Lucinda Green, Ph.D is a Dharma teacher, the founder and director of Rocky Mountain Insight, a Theravada Buddhist Meditation Center in Colorado Springs, CO.   She began formal practice in 1967 at age 16 and continued her studies as an undergraduate. She had her first brush with Buddhism while living in India in 1969-70, was intrigued, and began Vipassana practice in 1976. After an auspicious meeting with Ruth Denison in 1979, the Dharma took root as Lucinda continued rigorous practice and study, co-founding a sangha in the Bay Area of CA.

Lucinda completed her Ph.D. in 1985, and then traveled to Sri Lanka, where she donned the robes of a monastic, living and studying with the late Venerable Ayya Khema. With Ruth's permission, she began teaching in 1986, aspiring to instill a dedication to the path of awakening and to take students as deeply into the heart of the Dharma as they are able. Her teaching style is dynamic and clear; sharing the Dharma her profound joy. Lucinda has written Pathway to Freedom: Applying the Teachings of the Buddha.
