Well, Howard, my zipcode will not actually be 19701 until tomorrow evening. Till then I'm in Siler City NC, But I'm glad to have found this group! Thank you for the welcome!

There are so many different roads that lead to Rome--fascinating paths, wonderful teachers.! I want to discover them all! But then I keep reminding myself that we all there eventually, and that everything I need is always in the present moment anyway!
      Be well Howard

I have been on a spiritual path for many years. In recent years, I have become very drawn to the work of Eckart Tolle, and through the book, Ordinary Wisdom, Extraordinary Women, discovered his protoge, Karen McPhee. I have never met Karen, but have worked with her in individual sessions and in group satsangs on the telephone. She was scheduled to come to Asheville in November, which is how I discovered this group. Unfortunately, she had to cancel due to a health condition. But Cullen let me know that Adyashanti is coming in April, 2010. I love his work as well, and plan to come to his intensive then.
Thank you for asking! How about you?

Thanks, Howard. I'm excited to be here. Am I here? Or would it be that I am there? Of course, in truth, I am here and I am there. What's my name? I think I'm a squirrel. No wonder life seems confusing at times.

Howard, in response to your interest in Almaas, let me recommend that you read his latest book, Unfolding Now. His writings are prolific and often rather dense--though always illuminating. This book is very accessible and manages to convey the essence of his teachings, with inquiry exercises accompanying each chapter that serve to deepen one's experience. I love it!
